I’m Will DeGraw, my Ma and Pop call me “Willie.” Photography is more than my vocation; it’s an absolute blessing & gift I get to do. Documenting honesty and capturing meaningful photographs for people brings me the most joy.
My journey into photography is very personal. After serving in the United States Marine Corps, I faced some tough times and found solace in photography. It became a vital outlet for me, helping me process and cope with difficult experiences. That’s why this vocation is so much more than just a job to me.
Photography is something I never expected to evolve into a career. But here I am, immensely grateful that I get to do what I love every day. Even now, it’s still my passion, something I adore just as much as when I first picked up my Fujifilm x 100f in December of 2017. You’ll never find me without a camera; always sizing up a photograph.
What I love most about photographing weddings is the celebration of marriage. There’s a thrill in the commotion and emotions, with everything happening so fast—it all unfolds just once, never to be repeated. But equally important are the quiet, tender moments, the ones where time seems to slow down. I revere capturing these moments just as much, freezing them in time so they can be remembered and enjoyed forever. Whether it’s the high energy of the dance floor or the gentle calm before the ceremony, every part of the day holds something special.
